Raised in the beats of his father’s mobile disco, DJ DaOvee is a backwoods DJ who daringly fuses the heritage of traditional music with the pulsating energy of modern club beats.

Through his innovative project R’trimage, he reimagines folk classics, delivering an immersive sonic experience that transports listeners through time and gets them dancing into the night.

DaOvee is also known as musician and composer Dâvi Simard (L’Oumimag, Cirque Alphonse, Cédric Dind-Lavoie, Damien Robitaille).
