Exhibition Marie-Samuel Levasseur
De l’indicible des secrets invisibles: experiments around the occult and small works

The installation of De l’indicible des secrets invisibles reflects creative gestures carried out in the home and in care environments, notably by family members or healthcare workers. These gestures, often developed in response to urgent or complex situations, require forms of ingenuity, resourcefulness, and attentiveness, while combining beauty and care.

Believing that life flows through art—and not the other way around—Marie-Samuel Levasseur documents and presents these gestures in various forms such as tangible expressions of a sensitive, communal, and collective knowledge. The installation takes the form of an assemblage composed of several elements: photographs, objects, small books, family documents, ceramic pieces, wood prints, textile elements, and audio recordings.
